Welcome to khitonStudio,
the portfolio site of Joanna Engelkemier.

I have been creating artwork since my chubby little fingers first took hold of a crayon. My passion for both artwork and science took a professional turn when I entered the Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration (BPMI) program at Iowa State University and in 2010 I graduated both with a B.A. in BPMI and also a B.S. in Biology. I am currently enrolled in online learning at SCAD University to earn a B.F.A. in Sequential Arts.

I am a varied artist encompassing both traditional and digital media and a variety of styles. Here you may browse through my various artwork including traditional media, digital paintings, vector work, line art, sketches, character designs and even see the step by step process of artwork from beginning to end.

In addition I am also an amateur photographer and you can see some of the snapshots I have enjoyed capturing.
