- Really good for basics with lines (1D), basic shapes (2D), and basic forms (3D); if you don't mind the classroom humor
How to Draw ANYTHING Using Simple Shapes by RapidFireArt (11:03)
- Very good for showing how to breakdown objects into basic shapes, starting with simple ones and increasing the complexity, she also walks through her process as she draws. One note though, she is using more strokes than need be on her lines (see "How your handwriting is the key to drawing better" video)
How your handwriting is the key to drawing better by qrbits (7:54)
- Not geared specifically toward beginners, but very good info for understanding drawing at a deeper level
Intro to Drawing Basics by Proko (9:31)
- This isn't as much an instructional video as an introduction to an entire series, if you are wanting to watch multiple videos
6 Steps to Draw Anything by Proko (26:06)
- This is quite lengthy and more advanced, but it shows how basic shapes and forms are applied to complex drawings
